The store location is being led by Greensburg native, Beth Bennett, and her family. As enthusiastic Playa Bowl fans, they are excited to share this concept of an active and healthy lifestyle with Murrysville by working closely with the local community organizations, dedicating themselves to creating a positive and lasting impact. The store has already hired a team of 27 local team members.
According to the Playa Bowls website, the restaurant chain was founded by Jersey shore natives Robert Giuliani and Abby Taylor. The pair were exposed to acai or pitaya bowls on surfing trips across the globe and decided to experiment with their own concoctions.
