"Shorty's" is Pittsburgh slang for the small pins used in duckpin bowling, which the North Shore venue provides - as well as vintage and contemporary video and pinball games, fire pits, Jenga games, a modern Kennywood-type photo machine, shuffleboard and foosball tables, two bars, a lounge area, an outdoor kitchen and more.
It is unclear when the expanded Shorty's will open.
Pollock also is a co-owner of Palm Palm, a new restaurant anticipated to open in Eastside soon.
