5 Things to Do This Weekend

There are a variety events around the Pittsburgh area for your family to check out.

Patch is always looking to make your life easier and with it being Friday here's our list of five things to do this weekend. Click on the blue links for more information.

1. Bach, Beethoven and Brunch featuring Cincopation from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Aug. 4 in Mellon Park in Squirrel Hill/Point Breeze

2. PurpleStride at 9:45 a.m. on Aug. 3 at North Shore Riverfront Park

3. Concert in the Park at 5 p.m. on Aug. 3 at Riverview Front Ball Field in Oakmont. The Riverview High School jazz band begins the night and The Igniters will play from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

4. Monroeville (Free) Summer Concert Series: Dallas Marks (Top 40s country and southern rock) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 4 at Tall Trees Amphitheater

5. PPG Festival of Water from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 2-4 at the Pittsburgh Zoo in Highland Park. Scuba dive in a 25,000-gallon pool with the DEMA Be A Diver tour. All you need is a towel. Free with zoo admission. Participants must be at least 10 years old and 54 inches tall.
