Farmers' Markets in Full Swing: Find One Near You

Fresh produce is ready for purchase on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in 2013.

Farmers' markets are sprouting up across east of Pittsburgh this summer. Below is a list of some of our favorites. If you know of another farmers' market in the area, please add it in the comments section under the article.

Verona Farmers Market
When: 2 to 6 p.m. Thursdays

Turtle Creek Valley Farm Stand
When: 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursdays 
Where: 519 Penn Ave. in front of the WVHSC building

Monroeville Lions Farmers Market
When: 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays
Where: Monroeville Community Park at 2399 Tilbrook Rd.

Forest Hills Farmers Market
When:  4 to 7 p.m. Fridays
Where: Forest Hills Presbyterian Church parking lot on Ardmore Boulevard

Wilkinsburg Farmers Market
When: 3 to 6 p.m. Thursdays
Where: Behind the South Avenue Methodist Church at 733 South Ave.

Grow Pittsburgh Farm Stand in Braddock
When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays
Where: 6th Street and Braddock Avenue

Rankin Farm Stand
When: 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursdays
Where: Rankin Christian Center at 230 3rd Ave.
