Oakmont Celebrating 125th Anniversary with ‘Our Town’ Quilt
Participants may decorate squares of fabric with their family's names.

Oakmont residents are stitching together more than a century’s worth of memories.
To celebrate the borough’s 125th birthday, the Riverview Community Action Corporation is selling fabric squares that will become part of an “Our Town” quilt.
The 6-inch squares of fabric, which will include the family name of participants, are available starting Tuesday, Oct. 1 for $1 each.

The RCAC’s “sewing ladies,” then will assemble the quilt, which will be displayed at various venues throughout the town before settling into a permanent home at the RCAC.
The squares are limited to one per family. For more information, contact RCAC program director Lynn Verratti at 412-828-1062 or lverratti@rcacorp.org
