Carmela Riccio, Formerly of Conshohocken

Carmela Riccio, of Ambler, formerly of Conshohocken, died Saturday, July 20 at Suburban Woods Health and Rehab. She was 89.

Born in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Mariano and Elizabeth (Januzelli) Santi. She worked in the cafeteria at Wissahickon High School for more than 15 years.

Riccio was a memer of the Sons of Italy, L.R.B. Club in Ambler. 

She is survived by two sons, Angelo of Hatfield and Peter of Ambler; and two grandchildren, Katie and Sam Riccio. She was preceded in death by her brother, Angelo Santi; and her husband, Clement F. Riccio.

A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, July 24 at 10 a.m. at Ss. Cosmas and Damian Church, 209 West Fifth Ave., Conshohocken. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church.

Interment will be in St. Matthew Cemetery.
