Dog Park Opening and a Parade, This week

Check out a few things happening this week in the Plymouth-Whitemarsh area.

On Wednesday, July 3, the Plymouth Township Parks and Recreation Department will present the movie “Despicable Me” at the amphitheater at Community Center Park behind the Greater Plymouth Community Center. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. A DJ will provide music prior to the movie. In the event of rain, the movie will be held in the GPCC. Please bring blankets and chairs.

On Wednesday, July 3, Conshohocken will hold its borough council workshop meeting at 7 p.m. at borough hall, at Eighth Avenue and Fayette Street.

Whitemarsh Township will hold its July 4 parade at 10 a.m. The parade will include antique cars, fire trucks and marching units. For more information, click on the township's website here.

The Conshohocken Dog Park will hold its grand opening Friday, July 5 from noon to 4 p.m. The dog park is located behind the Londonbury Apartments in the 300 block of Washington Street. The Conshohocken Dog Park membership fee is $10 annually. Dogs must be at least six months old … and other typical dog park rules apply.
