Local police were called out to Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School on Tuesday after a report of a fight involving a large number of students.
PLYMOUTH-WHITEMARSH, PA — A fight involving a large number of students required the response of local police Tuesday in Montgomery County.
Whitemarsh Township police say they were called out to the Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School for a fight involving multiple students.
No other students at the campus were ever in danger, and students were kept in their respective classrooms until the matter was resolved, Whitemarsh police posted to Facebook.

The school was never placed on any lockdown or lockout and no weapons were involved in the altercation.
Police released a statement after some community members took to social media to question the reason for the large police presence at the high school.
