Man Drinks Quart of Corona at Red Light, Police Say
… but 'performed exceptionally' during the field sobriety test.

Whitemarsh Police cited a Norristown man after he was allegedly seen drinking a 32-ounce bottle of Corona while he was stopped at a red light … next to a police cruiser.
Sergio I. Hernandez, 31, of the 1000 block of Cherry Street, was cited for disorderly conduct, restrictions on alcoholic beverages and driving without a license following the June 15 incident. According to police, Hernandez was seen drinking the beer at the corner of Ridge Pike and Joshua Road, and was pulled over a short time later near Ridge Cleaners at about 8:15 p.m.
Hernandez handed over the beer, which was “disposed of properly,” and “performed exceptionally” during a field sobriety test, according to police.
