Miquon School Vandalized, Police Say

A maintenance person at the Miquon School recently came to the Whitemarsh Township Police Department to report several instances of vandalism at the school over the past few months.

Within the last week, someone broke off a light post on the walkway to the school, the damage estimate is about $500, police said. The same instance of vandalism happened about three months ago. And about six months ago, the maintenance person said he noticed that someone had tried to pry open the door to the music room. There have also been several empty beer cans around the school’s pool.

There are no exact dates or times for the incidents. The maintenance man asked for extra patrol in the area of the school, which is located at 2025 Harts Lane,  Conshohocken.
