Virginia T. Pettine, Lived in Conshohocken

A funeral Mass for Pettine will be held Thursday, June 20.

 

Virginia T. (D'Ambrosio) Pettine, of West Norriton, died Sunday, June 16, surrounded by her family at Einstein Hospital. She was 95.

She was the wife of the late Michael “Sike” Pettine of 57 years. She was raised in Bridgeport and lived most of her life in Conshohocken.

Pettine worked for James Lee and Sons and Rosemont College before retiring in 1975.

She was a member of St. Rita Sodality.

Pettine is survived by her children, Mike Pettine of Doylestown, Eileen Sardo of East Norriton and Carmen Pettine of Plymouth Meeting; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Charles Sardo; a sister, Lucretia Matticoloa; and a brother, Carmine D’Ambrosio.

A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, June 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Ss. Cosmas and Damian Church, 209 W. Fifth Ave., Conshohocken. Interment will be in St. Matthew Cemetery.

Arrangements are by the Ciavarelli Funeral Home.
