Body Found in Pottstown Park

A woman's body was found around 6:45 p.m. tonight at Smith Family Park in Pottstown, according to a report in the Pottstown Mercury. It is reported that park visitors alerted police when they noticed the unresponsive woman at the High Street park, just across from .

There is not yet an identification of the woman, who appears to be in her 40s, according to the report. The woman did not wear shoes, and was found with a plastic bag of dirty clothing.
