Candlelight Vigil for Kareem Borowy Scheduled for Sunday
A candlelight vigil will be held on May 12 to mourn the loss of 19-year-old Kareem Ali Borowy, who was killed on Sunday after gunmen abducted him from his home on Manatawny Street.

Friends and family of Kareem Ali Borowy will host a candlelight vigil in front of his home—1255 Manatawny Street—on Sunday, May 12, at 7:30 p.m.
Borowy, a 2012 graduate of Pottsgrove High School, was found dead on Sunday afternoon less than 30 minutes after he was adbucted from his home by multiple gunmen.
Organizers are urging residents to attend, so they can share their memories of the teen commonly referred to as "Reem." Guests are also encouraged to bring posters and picture collages.

Editor's note: a prior version fo this story stated the vigil would be held at West Pottsgrove Park. Organizers then changed the location to Borowy's home after they were contacted by West Pottsgrove Township.
