Harassment, Drug Charges Reported in Pottstown

Harassment: On April 8 at 7:06 P.M., police responded to the unit block on Beech Street for a report of a domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, police encountered the victim as she was finishing moving out of her boyfriend's apartment, which was shared with his mother. The victim stated that shortly after her boyfriend brought a load of items to her can, the boyfriend's mother – identified as 56-year-old Patricia Ann Hetrick – called her a "no good whore" and punched her the victim in the face, police said.

There were no marks on the victim, and she stated she did not need medical attention, according to the report. Hetrick was later charged with harassment.
Drug Charges: On April 11 at 12:05 p.m., police were serving an active warrant on a female from Birdboro when they encountered her inside of a minivan on the 1400 block of East High Street.

During questioning from police, the female – identified as 24-year-old Franchon Howard – reportedly informed police that she had a baggie of marijuana in her bra. Police then took Howard into custody, where she was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in addition to the original warrant.
