Local Students Awarded Scholarships to Alvernia University

Seven Pottstown students have been awarded scholarships to attend Alvernia University.

The Pottstown Patch would like to congratulate the following seven students for earning scholarships to Alvernia University:

  • Amanda Birard, of Pottstown, has been granted the Veronica Founder's Scholarship to study Marketing at Alvernia University. Birard is a senior at Pottsgrove High School.
  • Jessica Evans, of Pottstown, has been granted the Veronica Founder's Scholarship to study Nursing at Alvernia University. Evans is a senior at Pottsgrove High School.
  • Carolyn Gale, of Pottstown, has been granted the Presidential Scholarship to study Occupational Therapy at Alvernia University. Gale is a senior at Owen J Roberts High School.
  • Francesca Memoli, of Pottstown, has been granted the Presidential Scholarship to study Psychology at Alvernia University. Memoli is a senior at Pottsgrove High School.
  • Ashley Monzo, of Pottstown, has been granted the Trustees' Scholarship to study Nursing at Alvernia University. Monzo is a senior at Pottsgrove High School.
  • Jack Murphy, of Pottstown, has been granted the Veronica Founder's Scholarship to study Biochemistry at Alvernia University. Murphy is a senior at Owen J Roberts High School.
  • Kevin Winans, of Pottstown, has been granted the Veronica Founder's Scholarship to study Mathematics at Alvernia University. Winans is a senior at Pope John Paul II High School.
