Pottsgrove SD Provides Crisis Counselors in Wake of Borowy Murder

Pottsgrove School District Superintendent Shellie Feola has announced that crisis counselors will be available to students, staff and faculty following the death of Kareem Borowy, who graduated from Pottsgrove High School in 2012.

The Pottsgrove School District community mourns the loss of 2012 graduate Kareem Ali Borowy. We are deeply saddened by the violence that took his life and want to extend condolences to family and friends. Crisis counselors will be on hand at Pottsgrove High School for any students or staff who would like to speak with someone. We actively work to promote non-violence in our schools and hope the community can continue to address this important issue.
Borowy was abducted from his home by multiple gunmen on Sunday afternoon, and his body was discovered along Sanatoga Station Road by a passing motorist a short time later.
