Happy Friday, Pottstown! Here's what's happening today in Pottstown.

What's making Pottstown Proud? Lamoni Green is. She was honored recently by Pottstown Borough Council. Mayor Stephanie Henrick presented a council citation recognizing Lamoni's achievements. Born with cerebral palsy, Green has grown into an amazing young woman who wants to go to Temple University. She aims to become a motivational speaker. Green recently went to Nashville to compete in the national Miss Amazing event for young women with disabilities, after attending a similar Pennsylvania event. Thanks to John Armato for sharing this good news.
