Power's Out In Pottstown

5 p.m. Roughly 3,000 Pottstown PECO customers were impacted by an "equipment issue," said Martha Phan, a spokesperson for the company. Power has been restored for most of those customers. "The balance will be restored within the hour." 

4:45p.m. Although power has been restored, we're still awaiting details from electric company of why it was off. 

4:05 p.m. Electric company officials are expected to provide details of the power outage.

3:50 p.m. Dave Devlin of The Buzz said "traffic lights are out at several businesses."
