Sears Hometown Store to Open in Pottstown, Now Hiring

Sears Hometown and Outlet stores has announced that the new location on Shoemaker Road will open it's doors in late April.

The store will provide customers with access to a full suite of home appliance merchandise, mattresses and services. Additionally, the store will also offer Sears Nationwide Service and Parts and Installation, as well as real time price checks.

“Sears has an extremely loyal following in our area, and we couldn’t be happier to bring the brand back to our community,” said Glenn Surowiec, local owner of Sears Home Appliance Showroom in Pottstown. “In addition to providing customers with great products, exceptional customer service and a wonderful store experience, we’re also looking forward to being a driving force in Pottstown."

"Our goal is to be a valuable community partner, building relationships with other local businesses, organizations and community groups,” said Surowiec.

To prepare for their April opening, Sears is looking to immediately hire 11 for the new location, with initial panel interviews scheduled to begin on Saturday, March 23. Interested applicants can apply online by clicking here.
