When police arrived, they allegedly saw the man – identified as Adam Rodriquez, of the 200 block of Beech Street, Pottstown – drawing on the concrete of the skate ramp with an orange highlighter. After being confronted by police, Rodriquez said he frequently sees people painting on the surfaces at the park, and assumed he was allowed to do the same, the report states.
After being informed that the park is borough property and no one is allowed to draw or paint on the surfaces, Rodriquez used a shirt and water to clean off the marks he had made.
He was later cited for criminal mischief.
Warrant Service: On April 13 at 10:37 p.m., police were dispatched to an armed subject call on the 200 block of Beech Street.
While assisting on the scene, a small crowd of bystanders formed in the area, including Gary "PIG" Walton, who had an outstanding bench warrant in Montgomery County.
After police confirmed the warrant, Walton was then taken into custody.
