Traffic Alert: Lane Restrictions on 422 Next Week

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) on Friday announced that lane restrictions are scheduled on eastbound and westbound U.S. 422 between the Hanover and Sanatoga interchanges in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County next week (February 23-27) from 6 AM to 2 PM for roadway and bridge demolition.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time for travel along the detour routes.

J.D. Eckman, Inc., of Atglen, Chester County, is the general contractor on the $73.3 million project that is financed with 80 percent federal and 20 percent state funds. Construction is scheduled to finish in October 2018.
