Basketball Court Renovations To Begin Monday In Radnor
Radnor Parks & Recreation's Basketball Court Improvement Project will force court closures in Cowan and Odorisio parks.
RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Basketball courts in two Radnor Township parks will be getting facelifts soon.
The Radnor Township Parks & Recreation is beginning its Basketball Court Improvement Project Monday. However, the Monday start date is pending and will be revised as needed, the township said.
The project will revamp courts in both Cowan and Odorisio parks.

According to the township, the courts will be completely restored.
Improvements include new surfacing, new equipment, sideline seating, safety fencing, and court protection.

During the project, the courts will be closed.
Officials said the project is expected to last through June, but the work schedule is subject to change based on weather or other variables.
This project was approved by the Radnor Township Board of Commissioners and funded by a 2019 bond that allocated capital funding for these specific park improvements.
