Brush Fire Cleanup In Radnor Is Complete

RADNOR, PA —Radnor Township’s Public Works crews and firefighters completed the cleanup of debris from an early morning fire Sunday at Odorisio Park, Molly Gallagher, public information officer, said Monday.

The brush fire broke out at 6:36 a.m. Sunday in the wooded area near the basketball court of the park.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by Radnor police and township code officials.

No injuries were reported.

Radnor Fire Chief Joe Maguire said the scene was cleared by 10:30 a.m. with the help of assisting fire companies and the township public works department.

Berwyn, Paoli, Bryn Mawr, Newtown Square and Manoa fire companies assisted.

Radnor Fire Company was covered by Oakmont Fire Company during the cleanup.
