9 Candidates Will Run For Radnor School Board In November
The school board is responsible for approving an annual budget, setting tax rates, and employing a superintendent.

RADNOR, PA —Nine candidates will run in the November election for five spots on the Radnor School District school board, according to unofficial results provided by Delaware County Voter Services.
School board members are elected for four-year terms. They are responsible for adopting policies, approving an annual budget, setting a tax rate, and employing a superintendent.
The Radnor school board meeting is on the fourth Tuesday of each month in the township building, 301 Iven Ave.

Incumbent, Liz Duffy, was re-elected for a second term. She began her first year on the school board in 2019 and is active in the school and community.
Duffy got 2,853 votes in the Democratic primary amounting to 20.62 percent of the vote. She also earned 482 votes in the Republican primary, amounting to 8.2 percent of the votes.

These additional candidates have cross-filed:
- DJ Thornton: 2,853 votes, amounting to 20.6 percent of the Democratic votes, and 345 Republican votes, amounting to 5.9 percent of the Republican votes.
- Clare Girton: 2,766, votes, amounting to 20 percent of the Democratic votes, and 773 votes, amounting to 13.3 percent of the Republican votes,
- Jannie Lau: 2,783 votes, amounting to 20.27 percent of the Democratic votes, and 273, amounting to 4.7 percent of the Republican votes.
- Lon Rosenblum: 2,705 votes, amounting to 19.61 percent of the Democratic votes, and 261 votes, amounting to 4.49 percent of the Republican votes.
These candidates are running on the Republican ticket:
- Kyle Grupp: 912 votes, amounting to 15.5 percent of the total votes.
- Cheryl Gibson: 974 votes, amounting to 6.75 percent of the total votes.
- Beth Massey: 924 votes, amounting to 15.8 percent of the total votes
- Christopher Grupp: 912 votes, amounting to 15.6 percent of the total votes.
