Radnor Township Police Invite Public To Skate For Peace On Friday
Radnor and Haverford township police are holding a free Skate for Peace that's one of the Race for Peace community initiatives.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Officers from Radnor and Haverford townships and other local police departments are ready for ice skating Friday and they invite kids to come out Friday night for the free Skate for Peace.
Skate for Peace is part of Race for Peace. The Haverford Township Police Department along with Radnor Township Police and others are hosting the free evening of skating at The Skatium, 1018 Darby Road, in Havertown, on Aug. 6 from 7-9 p.m.
Children of all ages are invited to attend. Anyone who needs transportation assistance can contact Radnor Police Officer Jennifer Cocco at jcocco@radnor.org or by calling 610.688.5603.

Race for Peace is an organization that aims at creating an ongoing continuous dialog with the communities and the Police. It strives "to create enthusiasm in our communities, see through their eyes, understand their needs deliver more than they expect!" Its programs include youth mentoring and visits to prisons.
Race for Peace committee members include police officers from Tredyffrin Township Police Department and many other officials from the Main Line and Philadelphia.
