Thief Steals Purse From A Vehicle At Radnor Trail: Cops

Police remind residents to lock doors and hide valuables.

RADNOR, PA —Radnor police continue to report thefts of vehicles and theft of items inside vehicles parked throughout the township.

These crimes were reported from May 19 to 24:

  • Theft from vehicle: A victim reported to police at 7:14 p.m. Saturday, May 20, a purse was stolen from a vehicle while parked at the Radnor Pedestrian Trail, Conestoga.
  • Retail theft: Store security at TJ. Maxx, 550 E/ Lancaster Ave., reported a retail theft at 8:33 p.m. Wednesday, May 24.
  • Vehicle theft: A victim reported a vehicle was stolen on Friday, May 19 in the unit police of Ivy Lane.
  • Suspicious circumstances: A 8 p.m. on Friday, May 19, a resident in the 100 block of Woods Lane reported a suspicious person was seen in the driveway.
  • Vehicle theft: Witnesses reported at 4:49 p.m. Frida, May 19, a theft of a vehicle in the parking lot of Clem Macrone Park, 810 Conestoga Road.

  • Always park cars in well-lit areas.
  • Put windows up, take keys, and lock doors.
  • Do not leave handbags, phones, briefcases, wallets, or other valuables visible inside vehicles.
  • Hide valuables. Car floors, dashboards, and seats are not good places.
  • If you can’t take valuable items with you, hide them out of sight in your trunk.
