Voters Flock To Ithan Elementary School To Vote In 4th Ward Election

Jim Riley, a Democrat, is running in a special election against Republican Steve Morris for a seat on the Radnor Board of Commissioners.

RADNOR, PA—Ithan Elementary School polls were overflowing with voters, candidates, and political supporters Tuesday afternoon at a special election for a seat on the Radnor Board of Commissioners representing the Fourth Ward.

The seat opened up when former Commissioner Lisa Borowski resigned on Nov. 28 after being elected to serve as a state representative of District 168, which consists of Radnor, Newtown, Edgmont, and Middletown townships.

In December, the township commissioners unanimously appointed Jim Riley to a vacancy. Riley was the lone candidate to apply for the position.
