2023 Roxtoberfest: What You Need To Know

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — This year's Roxtoberfest will bring all things Oktoberfest to Ridge Avenue on Saturday, Oct. 7.

Roxtoberfest 2023 will be held from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7 on Ridge Avenue between Lyceum and Leverington avenues.

Attendees will experience the traditional feel of a German beer fest including performances by an Oktoberfest band, circus performers, competitions, an array of food trucks, plenty of beverages, and activities for all.

The day will feature musical performances by Galen Brass Oktoberfest Band, Old Academy Players, Moonroof, The Providers, Acoustic Ferrari, Kenn Kweder, and Shattered Figures.

Jeanette's School of Dance and Action Karate will also perform during the day.

The Secret Circus is also set to show off their skills.

A stein holding competition will be held at the Lyceum main stage.

Pocket Park will host a pet costume contest and a lederhosen and dirndl costume contest.

For the kids, there will be face painting, balloon twisting, games, and more.

And, Leverington Cemetery tours will be offered.

More than 60 crafters will also be posted along Ridge Avenue during the event.

This year marks 11 years of Roxtoberfest.

In the event of inclement weather, Roxtoberfest will take place on Sunday, Oct. 8.
