MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA — June 22 and June 23 will mark the 30th Annual Manayunk Arts Festival, continuing the tradition of being the tri-state area’s largest outdoor juried art festival.

From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 22 and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, Main Street Manayunk will host approximately 300 different local and nationally known artists and crafters.

Nearly 200,000 collectors, buyers, and designers will visit Main Street for this event.

Manayunk Arts Festival, organized and operated by the Manayunk Development Corporation, is free to the public and will feature artists from seven different disciplines: fiber, glass and ceramics, jewelry, mixed media, painting and drawing, photography, and wood and sculpture.

A list of participating crafters, artists, food vendors, and more is featured below.

Visitors can also enjoy food and beverages from Manayunk’s renowned restaurants and cool off by shopping at Manayunk’s unique boutiques and stores.

“I think it was the catalyst,” remembered Dan Neducsin, owner of Neducsin Properties and founder of the Manayunk Arts Festival. “I had vacancy signs and it really brought people here who hadn’t been here or hadn’t been back in a long time. It was like they were just discovering it or were rediscovering it. After that, my phone rang off the hook and everyone wanted to be in Manayunk!”

For the seventh year, local and up-and-coming talent will be featured in the Emerging Artist Tent at the intersection of Main and Grape Streets. More than 30 artists will display their work in the tent throughout the weekend.

“The fact that the Manayunk Arts Festival is going stronger than ever after 30 years is a testament to the artists, the business community that hosts this event every year, and to the folks who visit and support the artists by purchasing their work,” said Megan Douress, Director of Marketing & Events of the Manayunk Development Corporation. “We’re really excited for everyone visiting to see what Manayunk has to offer in our 30th year of the festival!”

This is a rain or shine event.

The Manayunk Development Corporation encourages taking public transportation to the event.

With just a 15-minute train ride from Center City, attendees can take the Manayunk-Norristown Line to the Manayunk station all weekend. SEPTA Bus Routes 61 and 35 will be rerouted to Ridge Avenue for the weekend. Limited Parking is available at 4000 Main St. lot and Green Lane lot (located between Main Street and Cresson Street).

Round-trip shuttle service is also available for $4 per person ($2 for children).

Proceeds benefit the North Light Community Center.

Free shuttle parking is available at the following locations:

  • 555 City Ave. on Presidential Boulevard in Bala Cynwyd;
  • Ivy Ridge Train Station on Umbria Street.
