34th Annual Manayunk Arts Festival Set For June 24

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA — The 34th Annual Manayunk Arts Festival is all set for Saturday, June 24 on Main Street, with thousands of attendees planned to visit the event.

The festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. along Main Street Manayunk.

The tri-state area’s largest outdoor juried art festival will continue as Main Street hosts about 300 different local and nationally known artists and crafters.

Nearly 200,000 collectors, buyers, and designers will visit Main Street for this event.

Manayunk Arts Festival, organized and operated by the Manayunk Development Corporation, is free to the public and will feature artists from eight different disciplines: fiber, glass, ceramics, jewelry, mixed media, painting & drawing, photography, and wood & sculpture.

Visitors can also enjoy food and beverages from Manayunk’s renowned restaurants and cool off by shopping at Manayunk’s unique boutiques and stores.

Back again this year is the Emerging Artist Tent which will feature local and up-and-coming talent.

The tent will be situated between Rector and Pensdale Streets, and more than 30 artists will display their work in the tent throughout the weekend.

"The Manayunk Arts Festival is 34 years strong thanks to all the talented artists who join us each year, the supportive business community that host the event, and all the visitors who come out and take a piece of art home with them," said Caitlin Marsilii, Events Coordinator of the Manayunk Development Corporation. "The weekend will showcase artistry of all kinds, and we can’t wait for creativity to once again take over Main Street Manayunk!"

The Manayunk Arts Festival is a rain or shine event.

The Manayunk Development Corporation encourages taking public transportation to the event.

With just a 15-minute train ride from Center City, attendees can take the Manayunk-Norristown Line to the Manayunk station all weekend or SEPTA Bus Routes 61 and 35.

Limited Parking is available at 4000 Main Street lot and Green Lane lot.

Handicapped parking is available at Main and Levering Streets.

A round-trip shuttle service is also available for $4 per person ($2 for children).

Proceeds benefit the North Light Community Center.

Free shuttle parking is available at 555 City Avenue on Presidential Boulevard. in Bala Cynwyd and Ivy Ridge Train Station on Umbria Street.
