Drexel Accidentally Sends Hundreds of Acceptance Letters

The letters were sent to students that previously had been rejected by the school.

Drexel University officials have offered apologies to hundreds of applicants that mistakenly received acceptance letters, according to Fox 29 News.

According to the report, the letters were sent to 495 students who previously had been denied acceptance or had incomplete applications.

One of the prospects told Fox 29 that Drexel was one of her top choices to begin her goal to attend medical school.

”I felt like my dreams were coming true and I was finally taking that first step forward,” said Tearra Bookard, a high school senior in West Philly. “To be rejected twice is kind of like a slap in the face.”
