Halloween in Manayunk: Come for the Thrill of it
Celebrate Halloween in Manayunk with a slew of events on Saturday.

The Manayunk section of Philadelphia is about to get a little spooky. This Saturday, October 26, Manayunk will host a slew of events along the Main Street commercial corridor as well as in Pretzel Park.
On Main Street, trick-or-treating will take place from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. There will be Halloween candy bags available at the Manyaunk.com tent at the corner of Cotton and Main Streets. Fun and festive scarecrows will guard the doors of each store or restaurant that will have candy for trick-or-treaters. Follow the scarecrows to get all the sweets your sweet tooth can handle!
A new addition to Halloween in Manayunk this year, zombies will be taking over Cotton Street, lurching out with eerie dance moves from Michael Jackson’s classic hit, Thriller! We’re calling it “Manayunk’s Zombie Thriller Dance-Off,” and ANYONE can participate! Simply know the moves to “Thriller,” come to Cotton Street at 2 p.m. on Saturday, and dress like a zombie! There will be a total of $1,000 in cash prizes to reward the Best Zombie Costume and the Best Dancer. Register here!
