Illegal Dumping Rallies Neighbors

On Tuesday evening September 6th some one illegally dumped tires at the Summit and Old Line Park entrance. Neighbors took notice and the city and Councilman Jones' office were notified. Wednesday morning looked like the tires had been removed but, actually they had been rolled down the hill into the stream. After communication with the city and Parks and Recreation department they said they could pick the tires up on Thursday morning but would need help getting the tires to the top of the entrance area. This is when the neighborhood stepped up. Sulimay's Salon and Great life Chiropractic both reached out to there friends and neighbors as well as people close to the park with requests for people to show up and help get the tires up the hill. Within 30 minutes people showed up, cleaned the area and the tires are now gone. Andorra continues to be great place to live because we care!
