New Dog Social Club Coming To Manayunk

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA — A new hangout for dogs and their owners is coming to Manayunk.

Bark Social is planning to open a new outpost at 3720 Main St. in Manayunk.

Called "the world's first social club for dogs," Bark Social is hosting a groundbreaking event on Saturday, Nov. 19.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon.

Attendees will get a peek at the venue’s renderings.

There will also be a community meet and greet with local vendors, refreshments for humans and dogs, local animal rescue organizations, activities for you and your pup, and more.

"We are thrilled to begin construction of our newest Bark Social right here in Manayunk," said Luke Silverman, founder of Bark Social. "We know Philly is full of dogs and owners that love them so as the first social club for pets, we can’t wait to become part of this dog-loving community when we open in early 2023."

This will be Bark Social’s third location, with other locations in Bethesda and Baltimore. Its fourth location will open in 2024 in Los Angeles.

Bark Social was founded in 2019 as a premium dog lover's beer garden, social club, and retail experience.

This indoor-outdoor venue hosts a professionally monitored off-leash yard and features a fully stocked bar and café, so dog owners can enjoy bites morning, noon, or night with their pups.

With locations in Bethesda and Baltimore, Bark Social is opening a location in Philadelphia in early 2023.
