Thrill Show Tickets: Tickets are still available for the Philadelphia Police Department's annual Thrill Show. All proceeds from the show go towards scholarships for the children of fallen city police officers and firefighters.
This day in history: Here's a fun fact, William Kemmler became the first person in the United States to be executed by electric chair on August 6, 1890. Also, on Aug. 6, 1914, Serbia declared war on Germany and Austria declared war on Russia effectively starting World War I
