Rep Pam DeLissio Hosting Free Paper Shredding Event In Manayunk

State Rep. Pam DeLissio (D-194th) is inviting her constituents to safely dispose of sensitive documents in Manayunk on May 7.

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA — Residents in Pennsylvania's 194th legislative district can safely get rid of sensitive documents next month thanks to State Rep. Pamela DeLissio.

DeLissio is hosting a free shredding event at from9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7 at the Main Street Movie Theatre in Manayunk.

Constituents can bring four boxes or grocery bags worth of papers to be shredded.

Newspapers, magazines and journals are not accepted.

Those looking to use the service are asked to take their materials from their vehicles to shred bins.

Shredding will be done on site. Shredded papers will be recycled.

The shredding event may end before 11 a.m. if the truck fills up before then.

This event will take place rain or shine.

The 194th district includes parts of Lower Merion, as well as Roxborough and Manayunk.

The Main Street Movie Theatre is located at 3720 Main St. in Manayunk.
