Roxborough Spring Fest & Car Show Set For May 7

The Saturday, May 7 event will feature the Rockin the Ridge Car Show, live music, food trucks, kids activities, vendors, and more.

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — On Saturday, May 7, Roxborough will be buzzing with music, food, activities, and cars as the Spring Fest & Car Show is all set to take place.

From noon to 5 p.m., Roxborough Development Corporation and the Roxborough Ridge Runners are hosting the event on Ridge Avenue between Lyceum Avenue and Fountain Street.

Guests will find more than 100 classic, customs, and hot rods at the Rockin the Ridge Car Show, located at Gorgas Park from Hermitage to Fountain street. Car show proceeds benefit Gorgas Park.

The day will also feature four performance areas with a variety of genres being represented.

Acts include Acoustic Ferrari (pop and rock hits from the 50’s to now), Cheddar Boys (country folk), Maggie’s Boots (Irish music), Skip & Chickie (new rock, blues, and country), Two Ripped Jeans (alternative rock), and more.

Food trucks and vendors participating in the event include A Taste of Philly, Calle del Sabor, Tabachoy, The Chilly Banana, New Ridge Brewing Company, and more.

More than 50 artists, crafters, and non-profits will also be at the event.
