Roxborough's First Beer Festival Postponed Due To Weekend Forecast

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — Saturday's event at New Ridge Brewing Company has been postponed due to inclement weather in the forecast.

Taps Under the Towers at Roxborough's New Ridge Brewing company will now be held on Saturday, Oct. 21 in the Roxborough Pocket Park.

The new event is Roxborough's first beer festival and benefits the Friends of the Wissahickon.

Attendees can get unlimited beer samples from 20 local breweries, including Attic Brewing Company, Boardroom Spirits, Brewery ARS, Brewery Techne, Carbon Copy, Chestnut Hill Brewing Company, Dock Street Brewery, Human Robot, Iron Hill Brewery, Kings Road Brewing, Love City Brewing, Other Half, Punch Buggy Brewing, Sacred Vice Brewing Company, Two Locals Brewing, Wissahickon Brewing Company, Wrong Crowd Beer, and more.

In addition to the numerous beers, the event will include a whole pig roast from Green Meadow Farm and other foods, including vegetarian options.

Mitchell Street Phillbillies will be performing live tunes for the event.

Tickets are $60 and include a 5-ounce tasting glass for unlimited pours. This event is 21 and older only, with identification.
