Test Your Strength At Roxborough YMCA's 'Snowman Challenge' Dec 27

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — The Roxborough YMCA is inviting community members to test their strength at the Snowman Challenge later this month.

At 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 27, the YMCA will host the challenge.

Competitors in pairs will compete in a series of fitness workouts such as lunges, kettlebell swings, cycling, and more. With each completed workout, participants will receive a piece of a snowman, and the first duo to finish their snowman wins a prize.

YMCA instructors will be on hand to guide competing duos through the challenges.

This event is open to members and non-members. Registration is required and can be done online here for $30.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the YMCA's Financial Assistance Program, which allows the facility to offer discounted programming and membership to those in our community who need it most.

The Roxborough YMCA is located at 7201 Ridge Ave. in Philadelphia.
