Want to Stop Smoking?:  The Roxborough Hospital will offer a tobacco cessation program starting Tuesday, July 30, from 6-8 p.m.  The program runs once a week for four weeks. To register or for more information please call 215-487-4442.

This day in history: On July 30, 1729, the city of Baltimore was founded where it would quickly become home to terrific crime fiction and disappointing baseball.  Also, on July 30, 1965, Lyndon Johnson signed the Social Security Act of 1965, creating Medicare and Medicaid.
