• Shapiro Administration Invests Nearly $30M in Municipal Traffic Signal Upgrades (therecord-online.com) — Sewickley Borough is set to receive $229,168 from the state’s Green Light-Go program to replace outdated traffic signals at Beaver Street/Broad Street and Thorn Street/Broad Street, aiming to improve safety and traffic flow downtown. The grant is part of nearly $30 million in signal upgrades awarded to 57 Pennsylvania municipalities under Governor Josh Shapiro’s transportation funding initiatives.
   

• 27k Miles! 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 (barnfinds.com) — A low-mileage 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 may still be tucked away right here in Sewickley, making it a bit of a local legend for muscle car fans. Recently bought from its second owner and largely original aside from a 1976 repaint, the numbers-matching Chevelle has reportedly never left the area and carries detailed documentation of its history.
