The school board approved construction proposals in late April.

Springfield schools are about to get an update.
The Springfield Board of School Directors voted at a recent meeting to approve six construction proposals described as "capital asset service life extension projects."
The six projects, which vary in cost from $46,000 to $71,000, will cost the district $364,712, money that will be funded by the capital projects bond proceeds, according to the board's minutes.
