Baltimore Pike Billboards on Hold Once Again

The issue of billboards along Blatimore Pike is on hold, at least for the moment, following this week's Springfield Zoning Hearing Board.

According to a township official, the Board did not take any action Thursday on a request for six billboards to be erected along Baltimore Pike. The question of billboards along the road has been tied up in local hearings and court actions for years.

The issue remains unresolved following Thursday night's hearing which did not result in any action for, or against, the request.
