• Associates Board Community Grants Announced by the Foundation for Delaware County (delco.today) — Springfield residents can support local nonprofits at the Associates Board’s Pickleball for Delco fundraiser on Feb. 7 at the Springfield YMCA, with proceeds benefiting community groups across Delaware County. The Foundation for Delaware County also just awarded $30,000 in grants to 12 area nonprofits serving youth, families, libraries, food access, and arts programs throughout the county. 
• High Schools: Donahoe scores 1,000th point as Sacred Heart rallies for win (delcotimes.com) — Springfield High’s boys basketball team stormed back with a huge fourth quarter to beat Episcopal Academy, 54-45, behind 24 points from TJ Valletti. The roundup also highlights Sacred Heart’s Mimi Miner tournament win featuring Megan Donahoe’s 1,000th career point and strong showings from Marple Newtown, Upper Darby, and Garnet Valley in local holiday tournaments.
