Dine and Dash at Chuck E. Cheese, $600 in Bras Stolen in Springfield

Springfield Police are investigating a number of recently-reported thefts.
An employee of Chuck E. Cheese in the 300 block of Baltimore Pike reported that a group left the establishment around 8:30 p.m. on September 28 without paying for their party bill. The manager reported that the party went on as scheduled without any problems, but when it was time for the bill to be paid the group was gone. The personal information that they gave the manager was not accurate, according to police. The bill was more than of $360.
A construction company reported that sometime between September 13 and 24 someone stole 360 feet of plastic piping from the rear loading dock area of the new Springfield Marriott in the 400 block of West Sproul Road. The pipe is valued in excess of $3,000.

An employee of the Victoria’s Secret Store in the Springfield Mall reported that sometime between 9:30 a.m. on September 25 and 4 p.m. on September 26 someone stole a large quantity of bras from a display in the front of the store. The items are valued at $600.
A Swarthmore resident reported that someone stole her pocketbook from a counter while she was shopping at the Michael’s Craft Store in the 600 block of Baltimore Pike on September 25. The bag contained various forms of identification, cash, and credit cards. The victim was able to cancel the credit cards before they were used.
