Power Restored After PECO Poles, Wires Downed In Springfield

PECO wires came down in Springfield Wednesday morning, knocking out power for hundreds of customers for a few hours.

SPRINGFIELD, PA — Power has been restored to hundreds of PECO customers in Springfield Township after poles and wires came down.

The Springfield Police Department said PECO poles and wires came down on the 200 block of Colonial Park Drive Wednesday morning.

According to PECO, 704 customers were powerless due to the downed poles and wires.
