Get Your Costume Ready for the Saxer Avenue Parade

On Wednesday, October 23 the annual Springfield Halloween costume parade will take place on Saxer Avenue.

October 24 is the rain date.

Over the last 3 years the event has grown from 50 children to upwards of 250.

This year, according to organizers, they are working on a trick-or-treat experience down Saxer Avenue. Some of the merchants will hand out candy and then the participants will end up at the firehouse.
