Hundreds Still Powerless In Delco, Full Restoration Expected Wednesday
As of about 5 p.m. Tuesday, more than 17,000 PECO customers in the region still do not have power, with about 3,000 of them in Delco.
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — A few thousands PECO customers in Delaware County still do not have power nearly 24 hours after Monday's intense storm.
According to PECO, 17,541 customers do not have power as of 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Of those 17,541, 3,394 are in Delaware County.

PECO said it aims to have power restored to affected customers by the end of the day Wednesday.

However, PECO said restoration work may continue into Thursday due to the severity of the damage in some cases.
"PECO crews, contractors, and support personnel will continue to work around the clock until all damage has been repaired and all service has been restored," the utility company said.
Delaware County municipalities with numerous customers affected include Concord, Chadds Ford, Marple, Newtown, Haverford, Radnor, and Middletown, as of 5 p.m. Tuesday.
PECO customers can access their account information, report an outage, and stay up to date on their restoration status online here or through the PECO mobile app.
PECO also reminds the public to stay away from damaged electric equipment, especially downed power lines and tree limbs that may come into contact with power lines
