Lock Your Car, Take Your Keys

Springfield Police are investigating a case of theft from a car that was reporedly left unlocked at a shopping center on Baltimore Pike.

According to police a Swarthmore womean reported that at 4 p.m. on March 3  hrs. she was shopping in the Stoneycreek Shopping Center in the 400 Blk. of Baltimore Pk.

The victim told police that she went to retrieve her purse from her unlocked vehicle and it was gone.

Police say the purse contained various forms of identification, a large amount of cash, a Samsung Galaxy cellular phone, and a prescription bottle filled with medicine. Police say the thief got away with more than $400 woth of items.
