O'Hara Girls Hoops Season Ends at PIAA Semis

A season full of emotion, triumph and teamwork comes to an end.

 

The members of the 2013 Cardinal O'Hara girls basketball team have played a season to tell their grandchildren about.

After 16 straight wins and the Philadelphia Catholic League Championship title they have acheived what few teams ever can.

Their championship season came to end Tuesday night in a game against Spring-Ford in the PIAA semi-finals. It wasn't the fairytale ending they had hoped for but the team whose motto is "Nobody Fights Alone" will forever be known as champions for they way and turned on the afterburners in an amazing unbeaten streak leading to the Catholic League Title.
